About the event
A peer-led forum to create space for discussion and sharing learning on programmes that address or consider environmental issues. This takes place at 9.30am on the last Friday of every month. Expect to discuss things like tree-planting, composting toilets, regenerative farming, solar energy, construction, off-setting and more.
In this session, we will hear from Emily Goodall of Just Wheels, who will share the story behind their pilot washable diaper project in Western Tanzania — an initiative responding to both the environmental impact of disposable nappy waste and the financial burden many families face while caring for disabled children.
The discussion will explore practical, community-rooted approaches to sustainability, disability inclusion and caregiving in low-resource settings.
Please register before the event in order to receive the Zoom details.
