Just a Child empowers children to enjoy their childhood, by providing resources for their development and growth.
Books are so rare and expensive in many parts of Africa. Not surprisingly reading for fun isn't as embedded in children's lives as it should be.
We build libraries from shipping containers in the South Coast of Kenya. And we can help you do the same in your part of Kenya and beyond. If nothing else, we can share our knowledge with you.
We can provide books too. The books are given free, but a small charge is made to help us cover the shipping costs. We can ship tens of thousands of books to Kenya each year and if you can organise the onward transport, we would be happy to partner up with you too, wherever you are.
